Open call for self-help testers

Welcome to EFKTIV.  I’m starting this website to help determine which self improvement methods are most effective.  There is an abundance of information, whether we are trying to lose weight, save money, start a new career, or just be happier in general, but it can be more challenging to know which materials and methods are most effective for a particular subject.  I think the best way to determine effectiveness is to measure it, so I hope we can build a community committed to quantifying the efficacy of these books, and help each other reach our goals in the process.  However, I am just one guy and I need your help to test these books.  During this week, I will post measurement systems for a few top books and we can get started.  If there is a book that you would like to see reviewed, or even better, would like to participate in testing, please drop a note in the comments below.

Mastery by Robert Greene has been on my mind as of late.  I am interested in seeing how it works as a followup to the Talend Code by Daniel Coyle.

In the fitness area, we will review Shred: The Revolutionary Diet by Ian K. Smith. How much can be accomplished in 6 weeks?  How easy is it to stay on the program?  How lasting are the effects?

What are the programs or books you’d like to see tested?
